Flower Parade 2025

The annual Flower Parade is a colourful spectacle that takes place every year at the beginning of August and is a feast for all the senses. This moving flower theatre attracts thousands of visitors to Rijnsburg, Katwijk and Noordwijk to enjoy stunning flower creations and lively performances.

What can you expect during the Flower Parade?

• Magnificent Floats: Admire dozens of floats and flower-decorated cars. The flower creations are true works of art and a splendid showcase for the flower-growing industry.
• Music and Entertainment: Enjoy the atmospheric music from music floats and marching bands accompanying the procession. With over 100 performers, the parade becomes a vibrant spectacle.
• UNESCO Intangible Heritage: Since late 2021, the Flower Parade has been on the UNESCO list of intangible heritage, underscoring the cultural and historical value of this event.
• Visitors from All Over the World: Each year, the parade attracts over 350,000 visitors, all eager to admire the 250,000 flowers that make up this colourful procession.

Route and Schedule on Saturday:

• Starting Point Rijnsburg: The procession departs on Saturday at 13:00 from Rijnsburg.
• Through Katwijk to Noordwijk: From Rijnsburg, the parade passes through Katwijk around 15:00 and is expected in Noordwijk around 18:00.
• Exhibition in Noordwijk: On Saturday evening from about 20:00 to Sunday evening at 00:00, the floats can be viewed on the Koningin Wilhelmina Boulevard in Noordwijk aan Zee.
