Powerkite School - Sport
Powerkite School gives powerkite lessons on the beach at Noordwijk. It describes itself as the only school in the Netherlands that specialises in powerkiting.
What can you expect at Powerkite School?
- Programme: A lesson lasts about an hour and a half and starts with some theory on wind, safety and equipment. All exercises take place on the sand; you do not go into the water. In a strong wind you almost ski across the beach.
- Ideal for: Powerkiting is possible from the age of 8. Choose a duo or private lesson, and groups of 4 to 250 people can book a clinic, for example as a company outing or children's party.
- Equipment: All instructors are certified and grew up kitesurfing in Noordwijk.
Practical information
- Location: The school works from the beach at the BeachBreak watersports centre, which has all facilities and where you can have a drink after the lesson.
- Parking: Parking is at the Wantveld, 300 metres from the beach.
Powerkite School is an active, surprising outing for young and old, without getting wet.
